Rama Krishna Pinnimty is a Computer Science graduate student at Virginia Tech with a specialization in Data Analytics and AI. With a passion for programming and a strong technical background, Rama is actively seeking full-time Software Engineer positions and will be graduating in May 2023. Before joining Virginia Tech, Rama worked as a Research Engineer at Singapore Management University, where he was responsible for building the front-end and back-end for highly scalable, real-time AI systems. He has experience in writing RESTful APIs and practicing MLOps to achieve top-notch performance during deployment and production. Rama's technical skills are diverse and include programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and C/C++. He is also skilled in web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Node.js, Express, React, Vue.js, and AngularJS. In addition, he has experience working with ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. He is proficient in working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra. In addition to his technical skills, Rama has experience working with AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift, EMR), Tableau, Git, Docker, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, RESTful API, Unit Testing, and LaTeX. Rama has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at One Fourth Labs, where he was responsible for improving course material, grading assignments, and clarifying doubts. He has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Midas: Multimodal Digital Media Analysis Lab, where he developed FaceFetch, an interactive, efficient, and scalable face retrieval framework for large-scale databases. Rama holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, and is expected to complete his Master's degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2023. With 3.78 years of relevant experience, Rama is a highly skilled Research Scientist, Software Engineer, and AI expert. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies and is passionate about using his skills to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
